Student Elections

Dear Students,

The role of students in the Indiana Pharmacist Association continues to grow! With the establishment of the Indiana Academy of Student Pharmacists (IASP) over a year ago, there are even more opportunities for student involvement. The IASP is governed by an 9-member Board of Directors consisting of the IASP President, President-Elect, Immediate Past President, and 6 Board Members at large (2 from each College of Pharmacy in Indiana). The President (or President-Elect in their absence) is a voting member at the IPA Board Meetings.

Included in this email is a link to the nomination form to run for a leadership position on the IASP Board of Directors.  We strongly encourage any interested students to nominate themselves to be eligible for the election.  Nomination forms (application link below) are due by April 17th. Elections will take place from April 22nd -24th and will be voted on by IASP members across the state. Those elected will take office on July 1st.

Membership in IPA is required to apply; however, you are more than welcome to become a member now at indianapharmacists.org if this is something you are passionate about and choose to apply.  Below is a brief description of the available positions for this election process.  Feel free to reach out to any of the current members of the Board of Directors with any questions you may have.  We are excited for each of you to have a chance to make a difference in IPA and help our profession reach new heights!
