Pharmacists Education Foundation Donation from the family of Keith Miller

By Nicholas C. Sethman on 6/11/2021

On May 21, 2021, the family of Keith Miller, a former representative for Pharmacists Mutual Insurance in Indiana, presented a check to the Pharmacists Education Foundation in his memory.  The presentation took place at one of Keith’s dining spots – Zaharakos Ice Cream Parlor in Columbus, Indiana. This gift was from the proceeds of a life insurance policy that Keith had purchased, naming the Foundation as the beneficiary.  Keith passed away on February 19, 2021.  He was a schoolteacher in Chicago before becoming a sales representative with Pharmacists Mutual Insurance in 1982, retiring in 2011.  Keith was well-beloved by many in the Indiana pharmacy community.  The Pharmacists Education Foundation is a 501(c)3 organization dedicated to supporting the education activities of IPA and providing scholarships to pharmacy students.  IPA and the Foundation both wish to express their sincere gratitude to the legacy Keith Miller left behind.
